The Hungarian Society for Plant Biology was founded in 1981 and currently has a membership of over 100 individuals. Among its members are experts from various fields, including biology, agronomy, viticulture, plant pathology, and other related disciplines.
The Society’s mission is to support and advance all areas of research and education related to native plants, to promote collaboration among research groups in Hungary, and to encourage the active participation of Hungarian plant scientists in both national and international organizations.
